The adventure trail

Play them in order. Each game adds one new idea and gives it a real job to do.

For grown-ups

Every game saves progress in the browser it was played in. No accounts, no data collected, nothing to install.

  • Short sessions win. Twenty minutes, then stop, even mid-level. Leave them wanting more.
  • Let them drive. Ask "what should Robo do next?" instead of telling. Bugs are the best part: "he went the wrong way, cool, let's find out why."
  • Stars are optional. Every level passes on any working solution. The three-star rating is there for kids who like to polish, not a requirement to move on.
  • Garden Maker is the secret weapon. Once they've played a few games, ask them to build a puzzle for you. Designing a level teaches more than solving one.
